Job summary
A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a trainee who has completed their foundation training to undertake a period of supervised clinical and laboratory-based research. This role involves adhering to GMC requirements and managing patient care while participating in training programmes. - Clinical management of in and out patients under care.
The aim of this post is to provide a trainee who has completed their foundation training and needs more experience at CT 2/3 level before applying for an ST post. This provides an opportunity to undertake a period of supervised clinical and laboratory based research. - To, at all times, comply with the GMC requirements of Duties of a Doctor
- To ensure that patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- To undertake duties as defined within the job description in so far as practicable and in agreement with your lead clinician and research mentor(s).
- To be responsible and managerially accountable for the reasonable and effective use of any Trust resources that you use and influence, and professionally accountable to the Medical Director.
- On commencement to ensure personal attendance at the Trust’s Corporate Induction.
- To participate in the Trust’s statutory and mandatory training programme
- To be responsible for the clinical management of in and out patients under your care.
- To comply with Trust policies and procedures where appropriate.
- To ensure that all intellectual property rights of the Trust are observed.
