Job summary
A respected engineering company in Wellingborough is seeking a skilled Toolmaker for a permanent full-time role. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in assembly, knowledge of plastic injection moulding processes, and strong skills in conventional machining. Responsibilities include assembling tools and ensuring their accuracy and reliability. Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Toolmaker.
- Strong knowledge of plastic injection moulding processes.
- Skilled in conventional machining and toolroom practices.

Responsibilities
- Assembly of plastic injection moulding tools.
- Use of conventional machines including milling and lathe.
- Polishing tools to high standards.
- Work from engineering drawings to maintain precision tooling.

- Assembly of plastic injection moulding tools

- Bed out tooling and polishing to high standards
- Work from engineering drawings to produce and maintain precision tooling
- Support production by ensuring tools are accurate, reliable, and ready for use
- Proven experience as a Toolmaker
