In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centres offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, managing, executing, and reporting tests, while ensuring adherence to industry standards and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of testing strategies, test plans, test cases, and quality metrics.
• Manage and execute tests for cloud‑based applications, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate testing processes seamlessly.
• Mentor junior quality engineers, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging testing methodologies and best practices, driving innovation within the organisation.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Extensive experience with Hybrid Cloud environments and testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Expertise in test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, etc.)
• Proficiency in test planning, design, execution, and reporting.
• Experience with test automation tools (Rational, Selenium, etc.).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
