Surgery Scheduling Coordinator - Per Diem
Job summary
A healthcare organization in the United Kingdom is seeking a Surgery Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination of scheduling and maintenance of surgical services. Key responsibilities include managing patient scheduling for multiple physicians and assisting with transportation services for patients. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills along with a minimum of three years of healthcare experience. This position offers a per diem schedule and a pay range of $18.00 to $23.00.
Qualifications
- Three or more years of relevant healthcare experience required.
- Strong analytical, computer, organizational, customer service and communication skills.
- Related scheduling experience is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls, greet customers, take messages as necessary.
- Coordinate surgical scheduling for multiple physicians.
- Schedule timely and efficient transportation for patients.
