Job summary
A prominent NHS Trust in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a committed Band 5 Staff Nurse for Critical Care. This role offers the chance to work on a dynamic team providing care for critically ill patients, with support for skill development and a structured induction programme. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality nursing care, participate in full rotations, and should hold 1st Level RN and NMC registration. A salary of £31,049 to £37,796 per year (pro-rata) is offered for full-time/part-time positions.

- Must be a registered nurse with current UK professional registration.
- Experience in critical care or Level 2/3 area is desirable.

Band 5 Staff Nurse - Critical Care
We are looking to recruit committed and self‑motivated Band 5 nurses. We offer 8‑weeks supernumerary status with a mentor and supervisor, a structured induction programme and help with completing the nationally recognised Step competency booklets. Our in‑house Critical Care course supports staff to complete the Critical Care post‑registration course.
- Provide high‑quality care and support to patients and families as part of the wider Critical Care team.
- Work a full rotation on both days and nights to meet service needs.
- Deliver high‑quality nursing care within a highly motivated team.
- 1st Level RN
- NMC Registration
- Acute nursing experience
- Evidence of further relevant study
- Experience in Level 2/3 area
