Job summary
A leading construction company in Avonmouth is seeking a Senior Health & Safety Advisor. This pivotal role focuses on championing health, safety, and wellbeing across projects. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in UK H&S regulations, manage HSW for large-scale constructions, and influence a positive safety culture. You'll provide advice, ensure compliance, lead inspections, and engage with teams to foster a safe working environment. Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of UK Health & Safety regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Experience managing HSW on large-scale construction and civil engineering projects.
- Competence in incident investigation, risk assessment and formal report writing.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert HSW advice and support to delivery teams across the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant H&S legislation and contractual requirements.
- Lead safety inspections, site tours and HSW engagement activities.
- Investigate incidents and identify improvement opportunities.
