Job summary

A prominent metal manufacturing company in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer. This role involves ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and fault finding on complex electrical systems including cranes and manufacturing machinery. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a team-oriented approach, and relevant qualifications like BS7671 and City & Guilds 2391. This full-time position offers family-friendly hours and additional bonuses for shift work.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years experience in heavy industrial electrical maintenance.
  • Practical experience with Variable Frequency Drives and Power Distribution Systems.
  • Time served electrical engineering apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
  • Fault find and maintain electrical systems including cranes and machinery.
  • Assist Electrical Maintenance Manager with daily duties.
