A leading provider of integrated facilities management is looking for two permanent mobile Fire and Security engineers for the Southampton area. The role offers a salary of £40,000, along with a company van and fuel card. Responsibilities include conducting system maintenance and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in fire and security systems alongside necessary qualifications. The role includes benefits like 25 days of holiday, overtime pay, and various flexible benefits.
We are recruiting for two permanent mobile Fire and Security engineers for our clients to cover Southampton and surrounding areas (company van for business use only with fuel card provided).
Location: Southampton and Surrounding areas
Salary: £40,000 plus Van and Fuel Card.
Working hours: 40 per week. Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday between 8 am – 5 pm with 1 hour for lunch
Benefits: 25 Days Holiday + BH, Flex Benefits (EMCOR UK discount scheme) Overtime available paid at x1.5 Monday to Sunday
Role to cover the on‑call Rota which is currently 1 in 4
UK‑wide travel may be required from time to time.
The ideal location for the candidate would be around the Hampshire region.
Job Purpose:
To provide support to both on‑site engineers and clients. You will also be responsible carry out system maintenance, reactive and small or extra works to, CCTV, access control, security systems, automatic fire, fire extinguishing and fire aspiration alarm systems comprising of both internal and external clients. We would prefer someone with a multi‑disciplined background in Fire and Security. Knowledge of working with large commercial clients and with many different manufacturers will be an advantage
