Senior Support Worker – Make Everyday Matter

Location: Didcot, Oxfordshire

Salary: £29,367 per annum (£15.06 per hour) plus benefits

Hours: 7.00 am – 3.00 pm, 2.00 pm – 10.00 pm (Monday to Sunday, shift rota basis – shifts may vary depending on the needs of the people we support)

Contract: Full time, Permanent

What You’ll Need
  • Strong English communication skills (spoken & written)
  • QCF in Health & Social Care Level 2 Diploma (or equivalent) and a willingness to undertake a Level 3 in Health & Social Care; demonstrate reasonable knowledge of regulatory standards for supported/residential living
  • Previous experience in a care/support setting
  • A valid UK driving licence (optional)
  • The legal right to live and work in the UK

  • Lead by example, acting professionally, patiently and calmly under pressure – support daily routines from morning support to bedtime
  • Supervise daily outputs and assist the deputy manager in managing staff performance, development and appraisals
  • Ensure the people you assist and their families are treated with respect, dignity and equality
  • Work in accordance with SeeAbility’s values

Jason – is an independent man who enjoys going out shopping or for walks.
