A community-focused church in Tring is searching for an enthusiastic Youth and Children’s worker to lead exciting initiatives in the ministry. This position highlights opportunities to enhance schools work and strengthen community engagement through children's programs. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and a commitment to mentoring. Must be a practicing Christian to meet occupational requirements. Closing date for applications is February 12th, 2026.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Youth and Children’s worker to help us grow this established ministry area. This role will include exciting new opportunities to develop schools work, as well as build upon our existing midweek community‑focused children’s groups, and Sunday junior church programme.
You will be someone with relevant training and experience:
We are a mid‑size multi‑generational church situated in the beautiful Hertfordshire town of Tring. Being the first Baptist church in the UK to achieve a Gold Eco‑Church award through the ARocha scheme we have a heart for holistic, whole‑life discipleship and for the church to be a place that is welcoming and accessible to all.
There is a genuine occupational requirement that the post‑holder is a Christian as permitted under the Equality Act 2010.
