Overview

Yard Operative role at SIXT. SIXT Van & Truck is part of the SIXT Group, a global leader in mobility services with a long history in automotive solutions. Our fleet includes trucks, vans, and specialized vehicles, and we are committed to delivering high-quality rental services and exceptional customer service.

We are hiring for a Yard Operative at our Glasgow Depot within the Vehicle Hire Division, which serves a range of clients from blue chip companies to public sector organisations.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Organise and maintain control of on-site fleet.
• Key control for the depot fleet.
• Communicate with Hire Desk, Maintenance and Damages to ensure on-site vehicle movements are accurate and timely.
• Assist in the scheduling of maintenance of vehicles and facilities.
• Delivery and collection of vehicles when required.
• Responsible for preparation, valeting and refuelling of vehicles when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the yard at all times.
• Comply with health and safety policy and procedures at all times.
