X- Ray Operative (Nights)

Plunkett & Graver, P.C. – London, NW10

We are seeking a X‑Ray Operator to join our operations team for a prestigious client in London. Due to the sensitive nature of the client, a thorough 3‑month vetting process will be required before the start date.

Shift Pattern & Compensation

Mon‑Fri: 00:00 – 08:30 (early morning shift)

Salary: £28,371.20 per annum plus £1,418.56 and £1,040.04 per annum as a London Waiting Allowance and Market supplement respectively.

Your Role

The role involves navigating internal drops at the large client location, moving items between departments and ensuring timely and efficient delivery within the site.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Loading and unloading X‑Ray scanners by hand.
  • Operating x‑ray machines and successfully identifying any IEDs, IIDs, sharps and any other potential threats.
  • Assisting with start‑up, shutdown and cleaning of site equipment.
  • Adhering to all Traffic Office functions in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality, health & safety audits.
  • Maintaining security requirements throughout the operation.
  • Performing other reasonable tasks as required to meet service standards.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as an X‑Ray Operator, or strong interest in the role with full training available.
  • Excellent team player with keen attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑security environment.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
