Job description
Role Overview

This role is central to keeping the CHAOS UK team running smoothly day‑to‑day. Based in our new Soho office, you’ll take the lead on workplace operations — making sure everything from supplies to space management is handled — while also supporting the team on people and recruiting tasks, like scheduling interviews and organising events. It’s a hands‑on role that suits someone who’s organised, proactive, and happy to roll up their sleeves to help wherever it’s needed. As a fast‑growing startup, we’re looking for someone who thrives in a flexible environment and enjoys solving problems as they come up.

Responsibilities
  • Office operations & workspace ownership – keep the CHAOS UK office running smoothly, manage supplies, shape space as the team grows, and organise team events.
  • Team logistics & support – coordinate travel bookings, and return schedules for team members travelling for field deployments, with good judgement and responsiveness.
  • People & recruitment coordination – schedule virtual and onsite interviews, welcome candidates, assist with onboarding, and act as the UK point of contact for people operations.
  • Internal and external communications – share updates, photos, and occasional internal communication; support external communications to raise CHAOS’s profile in the UK and Europe.
Minimum Requirements
  • Problem‑solving mindset – resourceful, proactive, and adept at figuring things out.
  • Team player with humility – willing to pitch in on anything to build a collaborative atmosphere.
  • Organised and adaptable – stay organised, plan ahead, and adjust quickly to changes.
  • Positive energy & team culture – organise socials, improve morale, and build a great office culture.
  • London‑based – must work from the Soho office most days.
Preferred Requirements
  • Experience in office management, project management, or in armed forces, technology or defence companies.
  • Event management – organise conferences, office openings, internal celebrations.
  • Digital content creation – support US and BD teams to create branding and content.
Benefits
  • Private medical insurance (including dental and vision) for employees and dependents, fully covered by the company.
  • 5% pension match.
  • Free daily lunch and unlimited time off.
  • Competitive base salary, pre‑IPO stock option grants, relocation assistance, and (coming soon) annual bonuses.
