Job description

Weighbridge Operator
Location: Bradford
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:30 to 16:30 (30 hours per week)
Salary: £20,000 per annum, pro rata

Ensure the efficient operation of the weighbridge and associated administration systems while maintaining accurate, compliant records.

Your core responsibilities
  • Ensure all waste acceptance procedures comply with site permit and company instructions.
  • Weigh all vehicles, completing tickets accurately and operating the computer weighing system to ensure correct customer charges.
  • Assist the Site Supervisor with the completion of EA Waste Returns and required reports.
  • Input, manage, and maintain accurate data within spreadsheets and site IT systems.
  • Process supplier invoices, goods out information, and complete associated administration tasks.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by handling telephone enquiries, operating site administration systems, and supporting overall site efficiency.
