Water Hygiene Technician

Compensation: £26,000 - £28,000 / year

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Water Hygiene Technician to join our field team, carrying out planned maintenance for a long‑standing client in the Liverpool/Manchester area.

This is a field‑based role that involves daily travel, hands‑on technical work, and the satisfaction of keeping vital systems safe and compliant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out temperature monitoring of outlets, calorifiers, and water systems
  • Perform cleaning and disinfection of showers
  • Conduct water heater and calorifier inspections
  • Complete cold water tank inspections
  • Perform TMV fail‑safe checks and servicing
  • Ensure all allocated work is completed accurately and on time
  • Follow HBE and client operating procedures
  • Undertake any other duties required as part of the role
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in Legionella monitoring
  • Ability to work independently
  • Professional and customer‑focused attitude
