Job summary

A leading automotive parts distributor in the United Kingdom is seeking a Warehouse Operative to ensure accurate picking and packing of orders. You will support the branch by covering holidays and absences, requiring strong teamwork and attention to detail. Ideal candidates should have experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment, good numeracy and literacy skills, and a basic understanding of customer service and delivery deadlines. This role offers an average of up to 41 hours per week, with some weekend work involved.

About The Role

ajAi BDko GSF Car Parts, our Warehouse Operatives play an important role within the team by always ensuring orders are picked and packed, and ready to be delivered to our customers. They are champions of customer service delivery through efficient coordination of warehouse stock and understand the importance of delivery timeframes.

As a Warehouse Operative working on a zero hour/casual contract, you will support the branch in covering any holidays or absences.

Main Duties include:

• Checking and putting away supplier delivered parts
• Picking and loading vans accurately and in a timely manner;
• Checking customer returns for resale, warranty or surcharge;
• Checking stock quantities are correct against computer whilst also checking stock is stored in the allocated bin locations.

Working hours: Up to 41 (average) hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working - depending on the cover needed in the branch.
