Role Summary We’re looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team. Our Centres are small distribution hubs where we store, prepare, and send out products to our customers, but we call them Care Centres because they’re all about supporting the people who rely on us.

In this role, you’ll help with the day-to-day running of the centre, making sure everything operates smoothly. You’ll play an important part in keeping the centre safe, clean, and welcoming, while providing a high level of service to everyone who uses it.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick, check, pack, and dispatch customer orders, making sure they are accurate and go out on time.
  • Receive and check deliveries, restock shelves, and keep track of stock levels to make sure we never run out of essential supplies.
  • Keep the Care Centre clean, tidy, and safe so it’s a welcoming place to work.
  • Work closely with the Customer Service team and other departments to resolve any issues quickly and keep everything running smoothly.
  • Help with stock counts and other routine checks to keep records accurate.
  • Support Care Centre targets and suggest ideas for improvements where you see them.
  • Be flexible to take on other tasks when needed, including covering for colleagues or lone working.

Skills and Experience

  • Good communication skills and able to work well with customers, colleagues, and other teams.
  • Well organised, with the ability to manage your time and get tasks done on schedule.
  • Able to work on your own as well as part of a team.
  • Comfortable using computers and basic systems.
  • Good attention to detail, making sure orders and stock records are accurate.
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar environment is helpful, but not essential — full training will be given.
