The role

As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll work in a dynamic environment, gaining valuable experience and contributing to projects that make a real difference.

Day-to-day, you’ll be at the heart of our logistics operation, ensuring that materials and components flow seamlessly to support Babcock Vehicle Engineering projects. This is a hands-on role where your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help us deliver essential services that keep our customers moving.

  • Complete a variety of warehousing tasks to support operations
  • Action supplier deliveries through the inbound receipting process
  • Maintain stock integrity by checking compliance, certificates, and shelf life
  • Pick and prepare outbound orders accurately for customer requirements
  • Ensure all goods are packaged correctly for onward distribution

This role is full time, 39 hours per week and is based on site at Walsall, West Midlands.

Essential experience
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
  • IT literacy for stock management and reporting
