Job description

A Waking Night Care Assistant is required for various 12 hour waking night shifts (8 pm-8 am) with extra daytime shifts available and to cover holidays and sickness of other care staff. These hours are to assist a young gentleman who has severe autism, epilepsy & learning disabilities, the gentleman lives in the family home.

The hours are an average of 25 per week (18.5 & 13.5 alternate weeks)

The waking nights are to monitor him as he has nocturnal seizures (there will be a second sleeping PA/carer on the same shift if needed. All aspects of personal care is and medication administration is required.

Experience with Autism and Epilepsy would be ideal, however training can be given.

The rate of pay is £14.70 per hour, with 5.6 weeks annual holiday (pro-rata)

A DBS is required for this position
