Key responsibilities
  • Develop and execute Human Resource strategies to support the bank’s growth and success.
  • Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Analyze industry trends in compensation and benefits; research and propose competitive pay and incentive programs that ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Oversee the administration of compensation, benefits, and performance management programs.
  • Create learning and development programs for employees.
  • Oversee or lead employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Required Skills/Abilities

  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of HR leadership experience, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, benefits administration, and compliance.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
  • Additional desirable traits include HR Certification (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP); experience with strategic planning and execution; experience with personality assessment programs such as DISC, Myers-Briggs, Strengthsfinders, etc.
