Detailed description

As a volunteer you will work as part of a team of volunteers to support the Explorers (boys & girls) aged between 14 up to 18.

We meet regularly on alternate Thursday evenings and hold occasional activities or adventures over the weekends. We are totally flexible; if you can’t attend every meeting, don’t worry.

You don’t need prior skills or training to get involved in Scouting. We offer simple learning resources (mobile or laptop based), a free DBS check and first aid training provided by us, and a discount at a major outdoor brand.

Volunteering is not only good for the young people and our local community but it also improves your wellbeing, gives you skills for the future, and helps you make new friends (and memories).
