This is a volunteering opportunity in the Bromley drug & alcohol services, supporting adults on their recovery journey. The role involves triage and information provision to help service users access a range of recovery services, under supervision.

Responsibilities
  • As a Volunteer Recovery Worker with Change Grow Live you’ll work with people who use our services, helping them get to where they want to be.
  • The Entry Into Service Volunteer will support the team in completing triage assessments for people who are at the beginning of their recovery journey.
  • Provide accurate information and undertake various duties which enhance or support the delivery of the service.
  • The role will be directed and supported by a supervisor, supporting service users to fulfil a recovery‑focused journey.
  • Assist service users to access a range of services identified through the development and implementation of individual recovery plans.
  • A Recovery Support Volunteer will represent, assist and support the project in the delivery of the service by meeting their roles and responsibilities criteria.

  • This post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at an enhanced level.
