As a senior member of Global Business Team, leads the Purchasing & Supply Chain activity, contributes to the management of the global business performance and inputs into the financial and operational targets for Fuel Specialties.

Essential Functions

Supply Chain

• Manages and optimizes all aspects of the এসব global supply chain performance
• Utilizes the global view to drive the optimization of our network of manufacturing, blending and storage facilities
• Owns Global and Regional S&OP processes
• Manages the supply chain service delivery, with emphasis on OTIF, customer service and financial targets
• Drives out costs in all aspects of the global supply chain without compromising service levels
• Manages the inventory working capital
• Provides effective leadership and support globally леген to ensure that all direct and indirect reports are coached, developed and supported in achieving agreed targets and fulfilling their potential
• Liaises and develops necessary standards and KPIs for supply chain across all regions and leads the team to achieve the targets set
• Manages performance of third-party tolling, blending, packaging and warehouse facilities
• Leads the continuous review and development of the use of the newly implemented SAP system across the department to ensure we are taking advantage of the capabilities of the system and the investment the business has made.

Purchasing

• Delivers a purchasing strategy to implement both the structure and direction required to support the global business in the short, medium and long term. Works with other department leaders to ensure all aspects of the business are included and aligned with the strategy
• Gives strategic direction and leadership to Fuel Specialties Purchasing teams and ಮೇಲ supports the development of best practice globally
• Identifies opportunities and initiates projects to reduce procurement spend Drives continuous improvements across all Purchasing activities
• Leads key sourcing projects globally
• Ensures that major lavarization purchases meet the business needs and safeguards continuity of supply
• Works with Purchasing teams to ensure that purchasing processes are appropriate and consistently applied
• Supports major tender projects and identifies cross Business opportunities with FS and OFS
• Identifies opportunities for business growth using global supplier contacts and develops senior level relationships with key suppliers

Role Requirements

• Extensive supply chain management knowledge and experience across all regions
• Extensive importing and exporting management experience
• Extensive transport and regulatory knowledge
• Good hazardous goods knowledge
• Ability to lead and influence in a matrix organization
• Good financial and commercial understanding, including cross-border tax & duty issues
• Experienced in dealing with different countries and cultures and willingness to travel globally (approximately 25% of time)
