Overview

Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal - West Yorkshire. This role offers a varied caseload with a mix of consultations and surgical procedures daily across Richmond House and Gatehouse Veterinary Group sites, welcoming a compassionate and enthusiastic individual to join our team.

Work life balance

We provide a flexible rota and working hours to support work-life balance. The role can be split between Richmond House (Mondays and Fridays) and Gatehouse (shifts), ensuring a varied caseload and support. The Saturday rota is currently 1 in 4.

Practice and development

We are a multi-site practice with development opportunities and ongoing refurbishment. We are equipped with digital x-ray with SignalPET, ultrasound, dental equipment, multi-parameter monitors, in-house IDEXX laboratory machines, and more. Our team includes an experienced veterinary surgeon, a registered veterinary nurse, animal care assistants and support staff, with leadership from the Area Director and Area Support Manager.

Gatehouse Vets operates across three West Yorkshire branches (Bradford Allerton, Bradford Bingley, Haworth) as a Tier 3 Hospital and Veterinary Nurse Training Practice. Our Veterinary Nurses work alongside Veterinary Surgeons to provide 24/7 care, mentor trainee nurses, and offer work placements for trainee nurses where available.
