Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a new Receptionist to join our friendly team. Our receptionists are the first contact between our clients and the practice, so they are an integral part in creating a first and lasting impression. Due to this we are looking for someone who has strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a busy environment.You will be working between 2 sites to suit the rota.

Abbey Vets is small animal practice with two branches: one in Durham and one in Chester le Street. Durham is a lovely city with excellent transport links to the North and South. There is a beautiful coast and dales nearby for people who prefer the countryside.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, enthusiastic who has great communication and computer skills.Ideally you will also have a veterinary background.

About the rota

This is a part-time permanent role working 28.3 hours per week. The shifts are between 8:00am-7:00pm Monday-Friday. You will also be included in our 1:4/5 Saturday rota.
