Job summary

A leading vehicle rental firm in Aberdeen is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to ensure the safety and compliance of their fleet. The role requires a Level 2 Qualified Technician with at least 3 years of relevant experience or a fully qualified Level 3 Technician. You will work on a mix of cars and light commercial vehicles, focusing on high-quality maintenance and diagnostics in a supportive, state-of-the-art workshop. Qualifications

• At least 3 years of employment as a technician or mechanic.
• Ability to work on a mixture of cars and light commercial vehicles (LCVs).
• Experience with vehicle diagnostics and general maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct general maintenance, diagnostics, and services on vehicles.
• Ensure vehicles are safe and legally compliant for hiring.
• Participate in advanced training programs for EV and hybrid qualifications.

About you

As a Vehicle Technician you are responsible for the maintenance and repair of our vehicles to ensure they are safe and legally compliant for our customers to hire. If you are Level 2 Qualified Technician with at least 3 years employment as a technician/mechanic or fully qualified Level 3 Technician / Mechanic, we would love to hear from you.

We have our own internal IMI accredited training department, where we can upskill you on such things as Hybrid & EV vehicle repair, Tail lift, braking systems, electrics etc:

For those trained to Level 2, you can take a training needs analysis so we can build a personalised training program for you to increase your skillset.
