Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Progressor to join the team at our busy Lloyd BYD/AllRoad sites in Carlisle.

Reporting to the sales managers, you will work closely with the Sales team ensuring that all cars are received, processed and delivered to the right standard and specification.

Salary: £12.50 per hour

Hours: 08:30 - 17:00, 5 days a week

Role Responsibilities
  • Receive all New and Used Vehicles from outside suppliers and ensure that relevant delivery documentation is signed dated and any damage noted.
  • Stock to be photographed and accompanied with a detailed video walk‑around on arrival to the site.
  • Upload vehicle content, including videos, images, attention grabbers and descriptions, to all digital platforms.
  • Carry out full vehicle appraisal on vehicles as soon as they are in stock.
  • Ensure all vehicles awaiting preparation are stored in the compound and ensuring that all new and used hand overs are ready for delivery.
  • Vehicle Check‑in – New and Used as well as Part Exchange Vehicles.
  • Deliveries – Liaise with Sales Executives and Customers to arrange a suitable delivery schedule.
  • Keys – Registration and storage of master keys, spare key fobs etc., onto tracker system.
  • Fuelling – Ensuring all vehicles are filled for handover.
  • Complete Daily Incident Sheet and report to DP on a weekly basis.
  • Attendance of Sales Meetings.
