A leading defense contractor is seeking a Vehicle Electrician to work onsite in Telford. As a Vehicle Electrician, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll carry out inspection, servicing, repair and overhaul of military vehicles and associated electrical systems. You’ll also perform diagnostic and inspection duties, manufacture miscellaneous items, and complete examination tasks to meet production needs. This is a hands‑on role where your expertise will directly support the UK’s defence capability.
Please note that the successful candidate will be required to pass a targeted medical questionnaire and/or medical examination as a condition of employment for this role.
Please note that this position involves manual work. This could include lifting, bending, using tools or standing for extended periods of time.
The role is based onsite at Donnington, and the set working times are Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, operating on a 9‑day fortnight pattern with every other Friday off.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
