A community-focused charity in Pampisford is seeking a Van Driver / Warehouse Assistant for a bank role. The candidate will be responsible for collecting and delivering furniture, communicating with customers, and supporting daily Retail Hub tasks. A full clean C1 driving licence and good customer service skills are essential. This role involves multiple collections and deliveries, often with heavy items. Interviews are scheduled for January 9, 2026, and the position supports inclusivity.
We have an opportunity for a Van Driver / Warehouse Assistant to join us in a bank role at our Retail Hub in Pampisford.
This role is responsible for collecting / delivering furniture to and from residential and commercial premises whilst also supporting with daily tasks at the Retail Hub. This will include multiple (can be heavy) drops and collections per shift.
Main duties will include:
Successful candidates should have a full, clean C1 driving licence, with previous experience driving a van or truck. Good communication and customer service skills are also required.
This role is subject to a Basic DBS check.
Please note that this is a bank role and shifts will be offered as they are available. We are happy to discuss this further at interview.
Interviews for this role will take place on the 9th January 2026.
Thesalary quoted is based on full time hours and will be pro-rata’d for part time posts. As a with limited funds, it is usual practice for new starters to commence on the minimum of the salary band for the role. Exceptionally, and only for candidates demonstrating significant strengths relevant to the role, we may be able to negotiate on this.
