Unqualified Maths Teacher - Secondary School

Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term (with potential to become permanent)
Salary: £100-£160 per day (depending on experience and level of school support)

We are working with a number of welcoming and inclusive secondary schools across Northampton who are seeking enthusiastic Unqualified Maths Teachers to join their teams immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for Maths graduates, aspiring teachers or individuals with strong subject knowledge who are looking to gain hands‑on classroom experience.

Your Role:
  • Deliver engaging, well‑structured Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Support pupils in developing confidence, understanding and enjoyment of Mathematics
  • Create a positive, inclusive and चाहिए well‑managed classroom environment
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of learning needs and abilities
  • Work collaboratively with qualified teachers and mentors to plan lessons and reflect on practice
  • Take part in ongoing professional development and contribute to wider school life
What We're Looking For:
  • A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject, or strong subject knowledge
  • Experience working with young people (tutoring, mentoring, classroom support or coaching - desirable but not essential)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence, organisation and a proactive approach
  • A genuine passion for education and a willingness to learn
  • ariosis for those'environ future teacher training (PGCE, SCITT or apprenticeship routes)
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
