Role: Programme Lead Uniformed Public Services – Further Education

Hourly Rate: £32 – £42 per hour

Location: Scarborough

About the role

We are working with a well-regarded and inclusive education provider in the Scarborough area that is committed to helping every learner thrive. The organisation promotes a calm and purposeful learning environment, where students are supported to build confidence, develop practical skills, and prepare for future careers in public service sectors.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Lead in Uniformed Public Services to join the team on a part-time basis (18.5 hours per week) starting in September. This temporary role offers the chance to lead a specialist vocational programme and support learners aiming to progress into roles within the police, fire service, armed forces, or other uniformed services.

Key responsibilities

The successful candidate will bring subject expertise and experience within public services or education, combined with a motivational and structured approach to teaching. A passion for helping students develop physical, academic, and interpersonal skills will be essential.
