Since 2019 we have worked with our instructors to provide tailored art classes for children, teenagers, and adults across the region. We believe in empowering everyone to create beautiful artwork with proper guidance and support, helping them achieve their artistic aspirations. In addition to public classes, we have offered school-based programs, including after-school art clubs for primary schools and teacher CPD sessions designed to enhance art teaching skills and confidence.

Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated turors to join our team in the Stourbridge area. This on-site role involves teaching art classes to a diverse group of learners, including children, teenagers, and adults, while adapting sessions to suit varying skill levels and interests. Key responsibilities include creating and delivering engaging lessons, offering individualised guidance to students, and fostering a supportive and inspiring learning environment. You will further contribute to after-school art clubs and support teachers through CPD workshops.

Qualifications
  • Strong artistic skills and proficiency in various art techniques and mediums
  • Experience in teaching or tutoring, as well as developing lesson plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with diverse age groups
  • Organisational skills, creativity, and a passion for arts education
  • Relevant art or teaching qualifications; a degree in Fine Art or a related field is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively in an in-person, collaborative environment in Stourbridge
  • Experience working with children and/or providing professional development for educators is advantageous
