Job description

Our client is an independent accountancy firm with a great private client practice. They seek an experienced trust practitioner to manage a portfolio of trusts, estates and charities.

In this role, you will deal with the tax work, trust admin and trust accounting. This will include trust tax returns and preparation of IHT100 and IHT400 forms for lifetime transfers and estate administration. You will also advise on IHT implications of distributions and trust restructuring and will monitor nil-rate band usage and reporting obligations.

Your responsibilities will include the management of more junior member of staff and reporting directly to partners. This firm’s team works from the office but flexible and part time hours are possible.
