Role overview

Trainee White Goods Engineer – Morley ʻaʻole – Leeds Customer Service Centre – Permanent – Full Time – Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus quarterly bonus. Shift pattern: average 41 hours per week working 5 over 7 (some Saturdays on a rostered basis), no Sundays. We are recruiting in Wakefield, Leeds, Barnsley, Huddersfield, Halifax and Bradford.

As part of our team at Currys, you’ll be part of an industry‑leading NPS and world‑class 1st visit fix rate. You’ll receive all the training needed to step into a full White Goods Engineer role within 2‑4 months.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the company van and manage your day effectively.
  • Test, diagnose and fix white goods in customers' homes.
  • Provide and implement technical knowledge across a range of white goods appliances.
  • Build up our reputation as a home services expert.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in white goods repairs.
  • Full UK/EU driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Ideally (but not essential) ACS Qualifications (or equivalent) in Essential Gas Safety Domestic (CCN1), Gas Cookers and Ranges (CKR1).
  • Passion for delivering a great customer experience.
