A leading plumbing and heating retailer is looking for a Trainee Technical Advisor to join their team in Basildon. This part-time role involves providing technical support for underfloor heating systems to both trade and domestic customers. Please note that this Trainee Technical Advisor role is offered on a part time, flexible hours basis: hours to be 4 hours a day in the summer – 20 hours per week, with a flex up to 42.5 hours in the cooler 6 months, or to cover holidays, or simply as required.
As a Trainee technical Advisor, you’ll be committed to delivering an outstanding level of service, and you’ll be professional, driven and enthusiastic. The purpose of the Trainee Technical Advisor role is to provide underfloor heating technical advice and support to trade and domestic customers, over the phone and via email. As this is a trainee role, no previous knowledge is required as full Training will be provided. You will provide the highest level of service to internal and external customers.
You will be contracted to a set minimum number of hours per week, and you will be required to be flexible to work additional hours to deliver the best customer experience, especially during the peak trading winter heating season. Where possible, hours and shifts will be agreed with you with plenty of notice so that you know exactly what you are doing and when! You’ll naturally promote and embrace our inclusive team environment and we’re sure you’ll have some fun along the way!
