Position: Trainee Protection Adviser – Newcastle

We’re expanding our team and inviting new Trainee Protection Advisers to join us at our Newcastle office, with a start date of the 10th November 2025.

The Role

As a Protection Adviser, you will offer L&C customers reassurance and protection for their homes, families and lifestyles. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Listening empathetically to customer concerns and advising on suitable protection products such as Critical Illness Insurance, Income Protection and Life Insurance.
  • Documenting findings and recommendations throughout the process.
  • Balancing outstanding customer care, regulatory adherence and workload efficiency to exceed performance targets and KPIs.
  • Maintaining eye‑for‑detail, warmth, friendly rapport-building and a clear understanding of each customer’s needs.
About You
  • Have employment within sales or customer service, providing you with strong listening and rapport‑building skills.
  • Possess excellent communication and organisational skills, capable of handling client conversations, developing policies and managing workload independently.
  • Have a confident team‑player attitude and a desire to develop and advance within the industry.
  • Show enthusiasm for representing L&C values and contributing to a respectful and equitable work environment.

FCA Certification Regime & Conduct Rules
