Traffic Signals Maintenance Engineer

Join a supportive team in ensuring 24/7 seamless urban mobility. Work across London maintaining and repairing traffic signals, using your electrical and fault‑finding skills to keep critical infrastructure running.

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance of traffic signals.
  • Attend faults on site as required by the contract.
  • Interrogate equipment controllers of all types and carry out fault analysis.
  • Complete daily work sheets.
  • Carry out periodic inspections in line with the contract.
  • Carry out risk assessments and method statements.
  • Produce completed test results.

Working environment: 12‑hour shifts, 4 on/4 off, covering days and nights, 24/7/365.

Key requirements:

  • Previous experience of traffic‑signal maintenance or similar.
  • Electrical isolation experience and electrical safety knowledge.
  • Awareness of personal safety, measurement and testing.
  • Logical, fault‑finding mindset.
  • Competence in site safety.
  • Full UK driving licence.
