Qualifications & Experience

• MRTPI qualified or actively working towards Chartership.
• Previous experience in a private consultancy or local authority planning role.
• Strong understanding of UK planning policy and development processes.
• Interest in residential development and strategic land planning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Role Overview

• Preparing and managing planning applications for residential schemes.
• Assisting with strategic land assessments and site promotion.
• Conducting research, policy reviews, and site appraisals.
• Drafting planning statements, appeals, and supporting documentation.
• Engaging with clients, local authorities, and wider project teams.
• Supporting senior colleagues on larger or more complex projects.
