Qualifications

• HCPC registered with a valid B.Sc. in Radiotherapy or equivalent.
• Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Must be flexible with shift requirements and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and safe planning and delivery of radiotherapy treatment.
• Work as a member of the Multi-disciplinary Team in patient care.
• Give support and advice to patients and their caregivers.

Skills

Knowledge of principles and practice of radiotherapy and oncology

Computer literate with experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

Able to work autonomously and as part of a team

Planning and organisational skills

Good awareness of the different Treatment Regimes

Education

B.Sc. Hons degree in Therapeutic Radiography or equivalent

Health and Care Professions Council registration

IELTS Level 7 (for those applying internationally)

Tools

Knowledge of Radiotherapy Planning systems

Working knowledge of Windows programmes
