Location: Kilmarnock, Scotland

Salary: £25,000 - £26,000

Hours: 40 Hours per week (5 days over 7, therefore available to work Saturday and Sunday on a rota basis)

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our busy Customer Support (Telesales) team working solely in the business-critical sectors of Stadia and National Accounts. The role requires someone with excellent communication skills to handle the key national customers and support the Head of Sales functions to drive the delivery of the growth budget through excellent customer service and selling skills. The suitable candidate requires a proactive approach and the ability to engage with customers effectively and build strong relationships.

What will I be doing?
  • Work effectively as key part of the National Account and Stadia team.
  • Understand key customers, influencing the channels & managing the Stadia portfolio.
  • Manage customer orders to ensure accuracy in all orders placed and delivered.
  • Pay close attention to detail to check pre orders, manage shelf life and liaise with kitchen where required on customer orders.
  • Provide support and comprehensive product solutions to Chefs.
  • Nurture and develop and build strong relationships with key accounts.
  • Conduct weekly targeted client calls to obtain orders.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate records of calls made and follow ups required in the CRM system.
  • Provide administrative support to Head of Sales with customer touch points.
  • Work closely with the National Account Admin manager.
  • Analyse sales trends and patterns to identify opportunities to maximise sales
What experience do I need?
  • 2+ years previous sales experience.
  • Prior experience working as a chef is an advantage.
  • Previous demonstratable customer service experience.
  • Excellent listening, questioning and feedback skills.
  • Competent IT skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under pressure and remain calm whilst maintaining attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritise, multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to diffuse and resolve conflict.
