You’ll carry out routine maintenance as required and use your own discretion when addressing non-routine maintenance/break down issues and escalated as appropriate.

No two jobs are quite the same, so you’ll gather a diverse range of experience making this a great step in your career in engineering.

What we’re looking for

While focused primarily on composites, we’re always keen to develop and cross-skill our people in manufacturing, and this role is your chance to build a breadth of experience across a wide range of manufacturing disciplines.

We’re looking for a BTEC and NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (Mechanical or Manufacturing) equivalent Apprenticeship, and/or considerable experience of hands‑on manufacturing with evidence of:

  • Applying an analytical and methodical approach to work.
  • Understanding of and ability to use appropriate methods (i.e. equipment, processes) in both routine and complex contexts.
  • Able to check the quality and accuracy of own work as well as that of others.
  • Building the trust and confidence in others through the competent and timely completion of tasks.
  • Conveying both routine and some complex technical information effectively, including giving some technical direction to Apprentices, Trainees and Associate Technicians, using appropriate media best suited to the audience and context.
  • Presenting a professional image in all circumstances including relations with internal and external customers, visitors and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to prepare coherent technical documentation.
  • Actively engaging in learning and development.
