Job summary

A leading property development company in the UK is seeking a Technical Manager for their Head Office. The role involves managing the production of key technical documents, conducting audits, and ensuring information accuracy. Candidates should possess relevant qualifications in construction or engineering, strong skills in A-site and MS Office, and excellent communication abilities. This position offers a hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications

  • A relevant qualification in construction or Engineering.
  • On a path to membership of a Professional Institution.
  • Excellent knowledge of A-site or other common data environments.
  • Excellent MS Word and Excel skills, capable of preparing reports for top level review.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in an organised manner in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the production of FRAEW and EWS1 documents.
  • Progress Building Safety Case work and carry out Golden Thread audits.
  • Check information for accuracy, validity and completeness.
  • Issue all information to the assessor in a structured format.
  • Maintain a lookahead programme with the consultant.
  • Check the reports from the assessor for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare Technical Reports as needed.
  • Manage consultants and maintain tracker documentation.
  • Attend sites for meetings.

Skills

Excellent knowledge of A-site or other common data environments

Excellent organisational skills

Education
