About The Role

Are you a passionate leader who loves sports and events? As the Team Manager for Sports & Events, you’ll inspire and develop our team while driving exciting programs for our client dedicated banking team.

You Will
  • Foster client relationships with the Regional Account Director and assist with client project goals as needed.
  • Conduct team performance reviews per company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreement operational elements.
  • Manage and delegate team workload effectively.
  • Oversee accurate data entry within the team.
  • Manage multiple program timelines and ensure clear communication throughout the planning process.
  • Update operational SOPs and communicate changes to the team.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Account Director, clients, and suppliers to enhance operational efficiency.
You’re Good At
  • Leading, training, and motivating a dynamic team in the sports and events space.
  • Building strong relationships with corporate hospitality and event ticketing suppliers.
  • Managing multiple projects with excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Analysing key metrics and providing strategic insights to drive improvements.
  • Communicating effectively at all levels, ensuring clarity with stakeholders and team members.
You Might Also Have
  • A degree related to hospitality, events, or business management.
  • Experience in the corporate hospitality and event ticketing industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a keen eye for sourcing and vendor management.
  • Experience using event management technology like Cvent.
  • A flair for strategic problem‑solving and thinking outside the box.
You Should Know
  • This is a hybrid role that requires one day a week in our Fleet office.
  • There are also 1–2 visits a month to our clients London office – travel expenses would be reimbursed.
  • Our standard working hours are 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM with an hour break.
