What you will do

Provide leadership and management to Team Managers and service leads within Children’s Social Care.

Translate strategic priorities into effective operational delivery across service areas.

Ensure compliance with statutory duties, council policies, and regulatory requirements.

Lead service improvement initiatives and oversee robust quality assurance processes.

Act as a senior decision-maker in complex safeguarding and child protection matters.

Support, supervise, and develop Team Managers through coaching, performance management, and reflective supervision.
