A local educational trust in the Tees Valley area is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 3. The role involves supporting primary pupils, mainly in KS1 and EYFS, and organizing after-school clubs. Pay Scale: Grade E SCP8 (£17,589 actual salary)

Contract: Permanent – 27.5 hours per week. Term Time Only

Required: ASAP.

Hours of Work: Tuesday/Wednesday 8.30 am to 4.15 pm & Thursday/ Friday 8.30 am to 3.30 pm.

The successful candidate will be working with pupils across the school, although predominantly in KS1 and EYFS.

You will be supporting the pupils on either a 1:1, group or within the class setting, improving the quality of learning for all, as well as running two after-school clubs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

We are looking for someone who:
  • Has experience working across the primary age range, specifically in EYFS and KS1.
  • Loves working with children of all abilities, being able to forge positive relationships quickly.
  • Can lead by example and will embody our school motto.
  • Works well as team and will embrace our school ethos.
  • Can be creative and plan and run after schools clubs for all ages.
