St Matthew’s CE Primary School require a Level 1 Teaching Assistant for 30 hrs per week at grade A1/B1 £24,413 - £25,989 (actual salary £16,589 - £17,660)

Required from January 2026, a teaching assistant to work within our large, friendly, successful and inclusive Church Primary School. The governors are looking for somebody who:

As part of the advertised role, the successful candidate will be required to work for up to 1hr per day completing lunchtime supervision. A 30 minutes unpaid lunch will be factored into the working day.

The successful candidates will be expected to support the Christian ethos of the school.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check. Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
