TEACHER OF HISTORY (ability to teach ‘A’ level law would be an advantage)

We are looking for an inspirational teacher of history who is full of energy and enthusiasm for their subject. Wirral Grammar School for Girls is an exciting school to work in. The school was judged “Outstanding in all areas” from Ofsted in December 2022.

Developing stimulating and student-centred teaching and learning is at the centre of our school development plan. We are ambitious and committed to the provision of all girls’ education, and our aspiration is to continue to be outstanding in all areas.

History is a popular choice for students at both GCSE and A level and results are very strong. We are looking for someone who relishes the prospect of maintaining very high standards in this department and making a wider contribution to school life.
