Teacher of Geography
Hours: full time
Then we would welcome an application to join our successful and dynamic Geography Department. This permanent, full-time post will start 1 September 2025. We are happy to consider part time or job share depending on your needs.
Our successful candidate will be a confident, motivated teacher with an uncompromising commitment to student achievement and the ability to engage all learners. This is a great opportunity for either an early career or an experienced teacher to work in a friendly, dynamic environment and to play a full and active role in the continual development of high-quality geography teaching and learning.
Geography at Ullswater Community College is a high-achieving department, with many students progressing to study the subject in the sixth form and regularly going on to related courses at university.
If successful, you will teach Geography across the range of abilities and at all key stages. Prior experience of teaching Key Stage 5 – along with the ability to teach another humanities subject – would be welcome but is not essential.
