Job description

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and reflective Food and Nutrition teacher to join our supportive and successful Visual Arts faculty. Applications are invited from inspiring practitioners who can teach across key stages 3 & 4 and have expertise in areas such as nutrition, hospitality and catering processes would be an advantage. The subject is currently a popular option at KS4.

The successful candidate will be passionate about promoting the teaching and learning of creative subjects and healthy lifestyles and have the capacity to deliver great teaching, ensuring that students achieve their potential and thrive in an environment that is engaging, challenging and inclusive. Our goal as a faculty is to work to engender in our students an appreciation of the value of the creative arts in the curriculum, and develop and achieve creative confidence, in depth subject knowledge as well as refined practical and transferable skillsets.

The faculty is committed to facilitating manageable workloads and ensures that practices are informed by current evidence and evaluation. We are on a continuous reflective journey to develop our curriculum design and assessment strategies further and this is an exciting time to join the faculty and work alongside experienced and dedicated colleagues.
