Erskine Stewart’s Melville Schools are currently recruiting for a Teacher of Chemistry (Maternity Cover) to join the Senior School on a temporary basis from May 2026 to 25 June 2027 (subject to satisfactory pre‑employment checks). The role is full time, with a salary of £35,2020-50,982. The role is based at our Queensferry Road site.
Apply to teach Chemistry at all levels up to Higher and contribute to the School’s extra‑curricular programme.

The successful candidate will only be able to take up this role if they can demonstrate an alternative right to work in the UK.
The successful candidate must be GTCS registered, or eligible for registration, in teaching Chemistry.
